BizarreBeasts is a ten-episode series, written, directed, and produced by Dylan and Kate Yarter, a two-person studio in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The series is coming soon, exclusively to DCP+, the streaming platform from Decentralized Pictures, a nonprofit foundation for independent creators.

Every character is hand-illustrated by Dylan, then cut into parts and rigged so it can move.
Animated in the studio
The animation is made in studio software Dylan built for the series: over 300 custom programs, including more than 70 browser tools and more than 200 Python pipeline scripts (counted September 2026). AI handles repetitive, structural work, like drafting motion timing, under Dylan's direction; the drawings never come from a prompt.
Scored and voiced
Kate leads the casting, the voice direction, the music, and the sound design. Dylan voices Hans and Cecil.
